Snow loads vary. Check with the local building department to verify the snow load in your area. Paintlock brackets are available for you to paint but must be painted or rusting will occur.
The Clamp-on Moose is a snow fence designed for standing seam metal roofs. It is suggested that you call, e-mail, or fax TRA-Mage for engineered layout charts and proper securing of the panels. The following is required for us to provide you with proper engineering.
- Ground snow load
- Roof slope
- Sheathing type and thickness
- Distance from eave to ridge
- Metal panel gauge and width
- Rib height
The Clamp-on Moose is installed by clamping the fence bracket to the rib, and torquing the lag bolts with 30 lbs. of pressure.
